Expert J. F. Barnes Myofascial Release Practitioner

Juliya Ivanilova is an Expert J. F. Barnes Myofascial Release (JFB MFR) Practitioner, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute (PMTI). Juliya specializes in highly customized Myofascial Release and other Bodywork treatments. She is a strong believer in mind-body connection and holistic approach to healing. 

In 2013, after an intensive treatment with J. F. Barnes, Physical Therapist, at his Treatment Center in Malvern, PA, Juliya became very interested in studying JFB MFR. As a patient, seeing rapid improvements in her own health, she felt a strong calling to help other people get back to healthy, active lifestyles.

Juliya got hands-on MFR training at the Skill Enhancement program, working side-by-side with J. F. Barns, at the Treatment Center in Malvern, PA. Juliya practices at TAVO Total Health in Silver Spring, MD. Her experience includes offering Myofascial Release, Massage and other Bodywork at Capital Integrative Health of Bethesda and at the PMTI clinic. Juliya received academic and practical training in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. She has expanded her knowledge farther by studying other complementary modalities. Juliya's treatments combine Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Core Synchronism.

Juliya has an extensive background in art, Masters degree in architecture and many years of experience in both. She loves spending time outdoors, one of her favorite things to do is Plein Air painting. Juliya believes that Myofascial Release and Bodywork is another form of Art that allows her to combine her experiences and deepen her understanding and proficiency in all areas of life.
